Karen Nowicki

Karen is an associate attorney at the law firm of Lane McNamara LLP. Her practice areas include construction law, suretyship, trial practice, and civil litigation.
Karen began her career in the legal profession as a paralegal. Karen has extensive background in civil litigation assisting in representing some of the nation’s largest corporations and insurance companies in the defense of product and premises liability, as well as motor vehicle tort. She has also supported in construction and contract matters along with mechanic’s liens and commercial evictions. Lastly, she has worked in family law matters involving complaints for divorce, post-divorce modifications, and contempt actions.
Karen earned an Associate’s Degree and Paralegal Certificate from Middlesex Community College, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northeastern University. She earned a law degree from the Massachusetts School of Law (Juris Doctor 2019). While at the Massachusetts School of Law she participated in Mock Trial Advocacy and was a finalist in Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition (2018).
Karen has been Treasurer on the Board for Claybrook II Homeowners Association since 2006 and is a Member on her Town’s Capital Improvement Planning Committee.
She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association.
